Bonjour! I'm ever so sorry for not writing for so long, but I have been very busy! As you may know, I recently travelled to Europe, and while I was there I made new friends, saw some amazing places, bought foriegn things, and most importantly, had many adventures. Where did I go, you ask? Well, my friends, I went on a trip to London and Paris! It was absolutely fabulous! Although I adored Versailles, I have to say that my favourite part of the trip was having a picnic with my friends in Trinity Square (By the Tower of London). It was so relaxing and felt almost...natural. Like I was supposed to be there. In the same way, at Versailles I felt as if I was meant to live in that palace and rule the world... Hmmmm.. Maybe I'm a little too ambitious... I was now going to show you some photographs of my time in London and Paris, but since I'm on my iPad, apparently I can't do that... Grrr... I think I'll post the pictures tomorrow, provided my computer doesn't freeze on me (which it probably will).. If it does, then I'll try and find a less broken computer to use.. Aloha! Bonjourno! Hello! Oi!
So this is my first official travel post. It seems pretty fitting seeing as the title of my blog is "European Dreams". I suppose I should enlighten you readers on why exactly I chose to name my blog this. For many years I have fantasized and dreamed of travelling to Europe, and when I finally went there, it took my breath away. Literally. I was in London and there was no fresh air to be found, although the sights and sounds of the city took my breath away figuratively as well. So ever since I returned home, I have studied the continent like one of Justin Bieber's fans studies the magazines. I have learned every single European flag, where the countries are situated, the leader of the countries and much, much, much, much more.

Anyway, I really wished to use this quote as my title, but I felt it was just a tad too long, so here it is: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Furthermore, my international travels are not at an end, very soon I shall be embarking on an expedition to the most grand of places, which I shall not reveal until I return. This means that people who do know where I am going, do NOT write it in the comments. Please. When I return I will unveil where I have been and even show some of my photographs! Overall, I am very excited to experience new places and learn new cultures. I am so glad that I was presented with the oppertunity to go and to go with my friends of all things! We will have the most fun, exciting, amazing bonding experience that I cannot even put it into words.

Spotlight on Harry Potter: 19 Years Later

This is a new segment that I will be introducing which gives some basic information and furthur insight into the characters, locations and ideas present in the Harry Potter novel series. Harry Potter has been a large influence in my life and I hope to enlighten your minds by delving deeper into these things and finding out what they are truly about.


The first installment of the "Harry Potter Profile/Spotlight on Harry Potter" segment will be dealing with the very end of the the HP series, the epilogue.
In this, we find out some information about what ends up happening to all of our favourite characters. It is set 19 years after the epic "Battle of Hogwarts", in September of 2016 as Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione are ushering their children onto the Hogwars Express.
Here's the run down of who marries who and the names of their known children:

Along with all of this fact we are provided with, there is also a great deal of mystery. For example, what ever happened to some of the supporting characters, like Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, or Viktor Krum? Did they get married? Have children? What kind of jobs do they have? Also, what happened after the battle of Hogwarts? Who is the new headmaster? New proffessors (other than Neville)? Is McGonnagall still alive? Please leave your own predictions in the comments below. I apologize for not having posted as often as I would have liked. I don't really have anything to say that is very interesting, so instead of me rambling on about something dull, here is one of my favourite poems:

Hello, everybody! I'm sorry I haven't been able to blog much over the last little while, but I have been bombarded by homework, tests, and tight schedules. I know that I should probably be writing about something fun and heart-lifting, but I feel it is time I adressed a serious issue that is ever so present in modern day High School. Another thing I am quite aware of is that this issue is not the most dangerous or serious as many others (bullying, suicide, etc..), but it is probably the most frequent. The issue I would like to write about is fighting between friends. This whole thing is getting seriously out of hand. These (it seems like weekly) fights are so immature and juvenile that it is just silly! I'm not saying that you should just suck it up when people are extremely rude to you, but you should not be exploding at the slightest thing! People must learn to look at things in perspective, if they don't, they will be ruining all of their friendships by scaring everyone off with them thinking that you'll get angry with them if they ask to borrow your highlighter (or something equally stupid). Some people should really just take a moment and think back over the last two weeks and review all that you've gotton angry at. Now, figure out if you a) Was totally cool about it until you cooled down OR b) Started to ignore them for a long period of time (while glaring)/totally freaked and yelled at them. If you answered B to ANY of the things you have been upset about, then you need to COOL DOWN and try to suck it up. Okay?
The only time that it would be okay to inform the person that they made you angry is if they did something absolutely SERIOUS. Like if they cheated off of you on a test and got all the credit while you got none. Then, it would be okay to politely tell them that you feel they should apologize for their rudeness (Make sure to do this uber-politely!). If it's anything really serious (like if they stole your boyfriend/girlfriend or something), THEN (and only then) it is okay to completely freak on them.
Yet, this also goes the reciprocal, if you did something wrong (and you know you did) you CANNOT deny it or make excuses. When you do something wrong, you must say "I am sorry. I wish I had never done that to you, I didn't mean to hurt you this much. What can I do to fix this problem." But when you say this, you must say it nicely (like you mean it) and just suck it up and admit you did something wrong. It will feel so much better in the long run. Trust me.
Wow. That's a REALLY long blog post! Sorry...

One thing I don't understand is how people think that it is easier to cheat...because that doesn't make sense! If they cheat they will most likely be caught and end up in a whole wackload of trouble for themselves, which would make their lives a whole lot harder. First of all, when somebody cheats on their boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband they don't get much more than they get from their partner, plus they would make a lot of people upset by doing that, not just their partner, but their close friends and family members. Plus, your reputation would go down the drain. Next, if you cheat on homework or a test, you learn nothing. You accomplish nothing. You just put yourself in a situation that could, potentially, ruin your whole life. Did you hear about that SAT cheating scandal? Some guy was payed to say he was somebody and take the SAT exam for them! Can you believe that! You should be getting into a university off of your own merits, not by having some random guy go and take one of the most important exams in your life for you! That is incredibly stupid!! Sorry, just had to get that out... On a lighter note, I am awaiting with anicipation, the arrival of the tenth book in the Pretty Little Liars series (by Sara Shepard). I cannot wait for this new book to arrive!! Yet, I still find it a bit odd how she extended the series like that... Anyways, I just want to remind you that HARRY POTTER IS NOT DEAD. I love Harry Potter with all my heart and he still influences me today. I am also waiting for AVPT to come out, it will be amazing!!! So, I guess that wraps up this little rant... Bye-bye!

So, I decided to start this blog because a close friend of mine is moving away... far away, like halfway across the globe far. So I'm doing this to keep her in the loop about what's going on and to keep anybody else who is reading this amused. So, basically, I'll just post little things about what is happening at our school, funny stories, books that are good reads, Europe (because it is amazing), and just random schtuff... So I guess you could call this little informative post a "test run", something just to let you know what I will be doing in the future. Also, as you might have noticed, I am going to be titleing each post with a quote that has to do with what I will be writing about, but I will also finish my post with an amusing quote that might brighten your day if your feeling blue.
